Skoot – Base Crawler
The DNG001 – Skoot Base Crawler is a modular and motorized scanner designed to carry multiple attachments. The Skoot can be used for many scanning and inspection applications.This remote operated scanning platform can be outfitted with a probe holder weld frame for weld inspection, or motorized arm for automated two-axis scans. It is capable of circumferential scans from 63.5 mm (2.50 in) to flat surfaces and longitudinal scans from 762 mm (30 in) minimum OD to flat. The Skoot uses rare-earth magnetic wheels allowing vertical payloads as heavy as 18.60 kg (41 lb) and can be configured for connection to most brands and types of instruments.
